It's a me! Or him, rather...

I got the idea to make this while playing Paper Mario on my Wii's virtual console. Something about the way Mario moved in that game reminded me of one of those old teddy bears with the separate arms and legs held on with buttons.

So that's what I based the pattern on. Loosely. Very loosely. I was really just eyeballing a vintage bear of my mom's to begin with, but ran off on my own tangent from that.

Yes, his nose is almost as big as his head. It's supposed to be that way. Like a caricature.

The whole thing except for the stuffing is made from scraps of old stuff. The overalls were formerly a pair of my sister's jeans, and all the rest was t-shirts from goodwill.

The mushroom is separate, but it kind of goes with the package...
