Robert's Awesome Plan for World Peace by robertllynch Robert's Awesome Plan for World Peace by robertllynch
For those who can't read my shit handwriting:

Robert's Awesome Plan For World Peace

The reason people start wars is not over resources or ideology, but because of the psychological belief in the in-group/out-group dichotomy. The trick then is not to compromise through diplomacy, but to convince every person that all humanity is in the in-group by faking a new out-group.

Step One: Invent holograms. This may sound trivial but is key to the remaining steps.

Step Two: Stage a false-flag alien Invasion with giant ships over major cities that drop real atomic bombs and kill 1/3 of the world's population.

Step Three: Establish a rag-tag human resistance group using remnants of world armed forces; launch a last-ditch-effort all-out attack on the aliens.

Step Four: Obviously win the war against the fake aliens, but make one alien ship retreat into a wormhole, radio shouting that he's calling for backup and will return to finish the job later.

Step Five: Keep reminding everyone that the aliens will be back, and that we all have to work together to be ready for when they come back.

Step Six: Establish a one-world government while rebuilding the world with new cities. Be all Kumbaya and We Are The World.

Step Seven: World Peace!

Yes, I may have been a bit high when I wrote this. Feel free to download, print and share. For whatever reason I thought this was the most important paper ever written last night and it needed to be shared with the world.

Medium: Ballpoint pen and highlighters on office paper.

So, Ozymandias' plot, but with holograms and badass resistance groups rather than genetics and superheros.
